If you are in Ontario and like kayak fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass then you have to check out the OKBT tournament series. This made by anglers for anglers group is a great place to be apart of some competitive bass fishing action. Coming to its beginnings in 2017 with the desire to establish a world class kayak bass fishing trial in Ontario that is on par with the many great kayak bass fishing tournament organizations in the USA.
The Ontario Kayak Bass Trail Begins!
2018 saw the first 3 events followed in 2019 with the next 4 events plus the addition of 4 online month long challenges set the new formula for the seasons to come. As we came into 2020 amidst the unprecedented “global pandemic” the OKBT pushed forward with 4 more events and 4 month long challenge events. Despite the new challenges COVID put in front of everyone everything went off without trouble and the 2020 season ended with the Kashagawigamog Lake event on September 12 2020.
